Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select Bourbon has a clean, brilliant, honey-amber color. The nose is heavy with rich, dried fruit and hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa and faint vanilla and tobacco spice. The palate is rich, chewy, rounded, and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon, and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate, and spice notes abound. The finish is silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm, satisfying tail. It has bottled at 45.2% alcohol by volume.
