Tequila Ocho was founded by tequila expert and restaurateur Tomas Estes and third-generation Master Distiller Carlos Camarena; Tequila Ocho was created to express the purest agave flavor possible. The world's first single-estate, single-field tequila is made using traditional, sustainable, additive-free methods that celebrate the terroir of our Jalisco Highlands home. From the finest, overripe agaves comes the finest quality tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco. The single field estate grown agaves are looked after carefully by the Camarena family.

Tequila Ocho Plata Puntas 101 Proof is the first release of Tequila Ocho Puntas, an overproof expression of the brand's award-winning Plata tequila, masterfully cut by the distiller from the end of the heads and beginning of the heart of the distillation, and meant for the tequila connoisseur who enjoys the whole essence of the agave plant. The tequila comes off the still at 128 proof, and it's then cut to 101 proof with spring water from the Tequila Ocho Distillery in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. Like other Tequila Ocho bottlings, this tequila was made from one harvest in one location. In this case, the agaves were harvested from the Camarena family rancho La Ladera in 2021. At this high proof, drinkers will discover the highest concentration of agave flavors while still experiencing a spirit that is extremely enjoyable to sip and savor neat.

Color: Unaged, crystal clear color, delightfully explosive to sip.

Aroma: Sweet cooked agave notes, baked green apple, nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramelized pineapple.

Palate: Bold, rich, cooked agave notes complemented by baking spices, toffee sweetness, freshly cut grass, and hints of eucalyptus.

Finish: Long, luxurious finish interspersed with white pepper and aniseed.
