Pocas Tawny Porto is a Port wine produced from autochthonous red grapes varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cao. These grapes are harvested manually and transported in 30 Kg trays. Controlled fermentation with maceration, stopped by grape brandy addition. It has matured in wood for three years, followed by the blending of several Port Wines from different harvests.
Pocas Tawny Port has medium tawny color. It combines the fruitiness of young wines with the velvety, woody flavor of the older wines. It is soft, light, and well-balanced. It is excellent as a dessert wine or slightly chilled as an aperitif, with cheese, pastry, nuts, and dried fruits, desserts or sweets. It is best to serve at room temperature 18 ° C / 64 ° F. Enjoy!
