Champagne | Rose
Piper-Heidsieck Rose Sauvage Champagne, in which "Rose Sauvage," meaning "Wild Rose" in French, is not your typical Champagne Rose. A blended Rose added to the great Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut classic blend is generous champagne. A high proportion of Pinot Noir results in a bold, deep-hued rose and a palate that is structured, full-bodied, and yet distinctly elegant. This unique, fruity champagne, carefully crafted from over 100 crus, is guaranteed to delight all the senses. It is a colorful, scarlet red robe - a recognizable signature. It has a delicate and lively effervescence. It offers a rich and expressive red fruit nose - blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, and Gariguette strawberry, freshened with citrus, mandarin, and blood orange. A finish lifted with paprika and saffron. This Rose Sauvage is a brisk, original, and juicy wine that simultaneously offers black cherry, blackberry, pink grapefruit, and blood orange notes. This structure and fruitiness are enriched with warm, spicy notes of Espelette pepper, tea, and licorice. It can be drunk as an aperitif and served at a cocktail party, garden reception, an all-night party lasting until dawn, an intimate tete-a-tete, or a gathering of friends. It is also ideal for a sophisticated dinner party. In the kitchen, it can be used to prepare fish and chicken, and desserts based on red fruit. Piper-Heidsieck Rose Sauvage pair wonderfully with Sunday barbeque in the country. Enjoy!
