Pata Negra Valdepenas Gran Reserva 2009

Pata Negra Valdepenas Gran Reserva 2009 is a red wine from Valdepenas based on 100% Tempranillo grapes. It has been made in the traditional Rioja style and aged 12 months in French and American oak barrels. This excellent example of mature Tempranillo is soft and mellow, with a relaxed nature. It offers hints of strawberry and vanilla on the palate and a very long finish.

This Pata Negra Tempranillo has ruby red color of the middle layer. The tones appear very slightly on the nose. It offers the aromas of leather and vanilla on a background of ripe red fruits. It has balanced, with good body, tasty and spicy, with soft and enveloping tannins. It has bottled at 13% alcohol by volume and pairs well with beef, lamb, veal, or poultry. It is best to serve at 15-17º C. Enjoy!
