The classic blackberry and cassis character of Cabernet Sauvignon melds seamlessly with the black cherry, red currant, and violet from the Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Blending wine lots across vintages and extended barrel aging gives Overture a supple structure and silky texture. Overture is full-bodied but approachable in its youth. The knockout finish is vast and expansive. Overture possesses generous aromas and flavors of dark fruit, spice, and cigar box with a soft, supple mid-palate.
