Marchesi di Barolo Sarmassa 2010 is a red wine made from Barolo's region made of Nebbiolo grapes. It has a deep garnet red color and offers intense aroma with clean scents of wild rose, vanilla, licorice, and spices. It feathers the resin of pine and tobacco. The taste is full and elegant, full-bodied, with tannins in evidence, with recurring olfactory sensations.
Enjoyable is the spicy and woody notes that blend perfectly. Its prominent structure has particularly adapted to main courses of red meats, braised dishes, and games in general. It's an ideal accompaniment for cheeses. It has bottled at 14% alcohol by volume and best to serve at 16-18° C. Enjoy!
