Red Wine | Sagrantino
Bocale Montefalco Sagrantino Red Wine 2013 has made exclusively from grapes of the native 100% Sagrantino and combines perfectly aromatic expressiveness and structural elegance. Of great character and personality, it gives its best with an entire aging period. It has aged for at least 10-15 years in 1000 liters French oak barrels for 24 months and in bottles for the other 12 months.
This Montefalco Sagrantino has a deep ruby red color with a slight violet tinge. The aroma offers typical scents of blackberries, currants, and Maquis, with notes of spice and vanilla. It is a well-structured wine with smooth tannins, right length characteristic of the variety. It pairs well with pasta dishes, Gnocchi in Sagrantino wine sauce, roasts and grills, or aged cheeses. It is best to serve at 18° – 20° C. Enjoy!
