2XO White Oak Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from 2XO, created by master blender Dixon Dedman as the third release in the Oak Series. This expression starts with a 95% rye mash bill. It is finished using an innovative secondary oak technique, in which chains of charred American white oak are inserted directly into the barrel to deepen structure and balance, without overpowering the rye's natural spice, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 46%. Designed as a consistent, everyday rye, it delivers a clean, wood-forward profile that works equally well neat or in classic rye-forward cocktails.
Aroma: Baking Spice, Apple Cobbler, Caramel.
Palate: Toffee, Vanilla, Spearmint.
Finish: Sweeter barrel notes with peppery spice.
