New American Style Gin
1220 Spirits Origin Gin grew out of St. Louis-based 4 Hands Brewing Co. in 2018, so it’s not even a year into operation. The distillery has focused on making vodka and gin, with this offering, Origin Gin, at the top of their permanent list. A series of seasonal gin releases is along with whiskey, brandy, and amaro.
This 1220 Origin Gin is a botanically driven gin made in the New Western-style having unique ingredients. It has also made its base with a highly select grade of juniper and a few more ingredients like Bergamot and Neroli. Some of the other ingredients of this origin gin include coriander, orris root, an essential oil extracted from the blossom flower of orange, and tastes very smooth. It has bottled at 42.5% alcohol by volume. You can have this drink at 85º in cocktails or can be savored neat. Cheers, and enjoy!
