Sea Smoke Ten Pinot Noir

Ten is named for the ten Pinot Noir clones found on the Sea Smoke estate vineyard. Sea Smoke Ten Pinot Noir is the most masculine wine; it is brooding and intense. The aromas begin with notes of ground cacao, raspberry, and Friar plum, followed by a mix of spices and a hint of lavender. Firm, mature tannins - evidence of Ten's age-ability is followed by a long, velvety finish.

Sea Smoke Ten Pinot Noir is a blend of ten Pinot Noir clonal selections from the Sea Smoke Estate Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. The wine saw 16 months in 65% new French oak barrels before bottling. Ten is not for the faint of heart and has been known, on occasion, to convert even the most fanatic Cabernet lover.
