TX Bourbon

Firestone and Robertson TX Straight American Bourbon Whiskey has made exclusively out of Texan ingredients for a flavor that is undeniably Texas. It has made in Fort Worth from #2 yellow dent Texas corn, Texas soft red winter wheat, 6-row distillers malt, their proprietary strain of yeast that they captured from a Texas pecan – they call it the "Brazos" – and of course, pure Texas water.

After more than four years of aging, they harvested and bottled their first batch of TX Straight Bourbon in December of 2016. After aging for more than four years in charred oak barrels, it is smooth and sweetly spicy with caramel and dark fruit notes. These bourbon bottles are wrapped with stitched black leather at their necks and a black band at their base. The tops are unique black leather, donated by local bootmakers.

This TX Straight Bourbon has a dark amber color. It offers floral, maple, and cinnamon on the nose. The palate has fig, allspice, and brown sugar. The finish is balanced, smooth, and warm. It has bottled at 45% alcohol by volume. Enjoy!
