Tequila Ocho Extra Anejo

Tequila Ocho was founded by tequila expert and restaurateur Tomas Estes and third-generation Master Distiller Carlos Camarena; Tequila Ocho was created to express the purest agave flavor possible. The world's first single-estate, single-field tequila is made using traditional, sustainable, additive-free methods that celebrate the terroir of our Jalisco Highlands home. From the finest, overripe agaves comes the finest quality tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco. The single field estate grown agaves are looked after carefully by the Camarena family.

Tequila Ocho Extra Anejo is gently aged for three years in ex-American whiskey barrels, and it is an unparalleled sipping tequila. True to Ocho, it is 100% additive-free and showcases the true essence of the blue agave. The latest vintage is 2018, harvested from rancho Las Presas, The Dams, bottled at 40%ABV, and presented in a custom wood box. Previous estate vintages of Extra Anejo were Rancho La Latilla in 2015, rancho La Magueyera in 2014, rancho El Refugio in 2012, and Rancho Cerrito San August in 2009.

Color: Darker amber.

Aroma: Notes of sweet cooked agave, toffee, and black pepper balanced with vanilla.

Palate: Complex cooked agave notes with oak, anise, and dried fruits.

Finish: Deep and long-lasting peppery and anise seed finish.
