Settesoli Nero d'Avola 2016

Settesoli Sicily Nero d'Avola Red Blend 2016 is a full-bodied and long-lasting wine with intense cherry, ripe marasca, and plum scents. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The aging has made in steel tanks and then in bottle for at least three months.

This Nero d'Avola is a bright and lively ruby-red wine. The nose is fresh, with hints of ripe marasca cherries. The taste of wine is smooth, warm, with a good structure, soft tannins, low acidity, hints of ripe berries and fruit and berry jam. The grapes ripened under the sun and harvested in mid-September make it smooth and velvety, with a lingering and round palate.

It is perfect with sausage, meat stew with potatoes, aubergine caponata, cured meats, and semi-hard cheeses. It has bottled at 13.5% alcohol by volume and best to serve at 14° - 16° C. Enjoy!
