Wild Turkey Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made in Kentucky using a generations-old mash recipe. It is matured in only the deepest No. 4 "alligator" char, American White Oak barrels handpicked by Jimmy and Eddie Russel, father and son Master Distillers. As a result of being the product of a single cask, rather than a blend of casks, each bottle of this Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon has its own unique characteristics, while still maintaining the rich and creamy style that is endowed by years of maturation in the Kentucky heat. It has a surprisingly subtle aroma. Clean on the palate, with honey-kissed citrus, summer fruits, crisp mint, and cinnamon, balanced by creamy vanilla and soft toffee. Notes of cinnamon, oak, and spicy wood are nicely balanced with undertones of vanilla, creme brulee, and honey, and ultimately lead to a deep and rich finish. Russell's Reserve Single Barrel is a solid bourbon that's nicely rounded and vibrant.
