White Wine | Pinot Gris
Panther Creek Pinot Gris 2013 is the winery's sole white wine and is a blend of grapes from three Willamette Valley vineyards: Olsen, Wildewood, and Kraemer. Panther Creek is known mostly for its extensive offering of Pinot Noirs – mostly single-vineyard bottlings from some of Oregon's finest estates.
The wine begins with aromatics of starfruit, citrus blossom, and lychee, leading to white peach, white flowers, and Gala apple. Bright, crisp, and clean, a pretty tropical fruit core laced with green apple, honey, and wet stone, beautifully balanced with a velvety mouthfeel. A crisp finish shows slight minerality with a hint of citrus. This Panther Creek Pinot Gris has bottled at 13.5% alcohol by volume. It is the perfect complement to light salads, seafood, or pasta. But we like it all by itself too. Enjoy!
