Laphroaig Lore

By maturing the liquid in small batches in five unique casks, we create a liquid that is rich, complex, varied and above all storied. We have created a Laphroaig Lore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey which uses different aged liquids ranging from 7 to 21 years, allowing us to create the richest possible Laphroaig flavour. As the name suggests, this new offering from Laphroaig is inspired by the knowledge and traditions passed down from generation to generation of its distillery managers, blenders and craftsmen. Laphroaig Lore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey was also named 2019 Best No Age Statement Scotch by Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible. Laphroaig Lore has a full sparkling gold color. On the nose, Laphroaig Lore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey has rich and smoky with seaside minerals and a hint of ash and bitter chocolate drops. It is full-bodied and has richly peaty palate with a spicy chilli bite. It has short, dry finish and a long sweet aftertaste. Enjoy!
