Dominio de Atauta Parada de Atauta Tempranillo 2016 is a red wine from the DO Ribera del Duero produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery. The winery, founded in 1999, is located in the Valle de Atauta (Soria), which lies in the east of Ribera del Duero. It is one of the most prestigious wines in Spain.

This Parada de Atauta has made with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) a variety of grapes, with a highly complex aroma, excellent on the palate, and a high storage capacity. It has aged for 14 months in French oak (25% new and 75% used).

This 2016 Parada de Atauta has a cherry color with purple hues. The nose offers intense aromas of black accompanied by notes of violets, rosemary and thyme, and red berries. The palate stands out for its freshness and silkiness. It has the right fruit concentration and incredibly soft tannins. It pairs well with white and red roasted meats, paellas of all kinds, mushroom stew, cheese curds, and cured as a black truffle. It is best to serve at 16° - 18° C. Enjoy!
