The Dalmore uses a unique cask finish to create their revered 25 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. Matured initially in American white oak, the whiskey has carefully divided into rare hand-sourced 25-year-old sweet Palomino Fino sherry butts, and 1980 first-fill bourbon casks. These exceptional whiskeys are then expertly married together in bourbon barrels before being transferred to Tawny Port pipes from Portugal for an unrivaled finish.
The Dalmore Aged 25 Years Whiskey showcases the dedication and creativity of Richard Paterson in his pursuit to find incredible casks for The Dalmore. It has aromas of exotic fruits, citrus, vanilla pods, treacle toffee, and fig cake. On the palate, it offers Madagascan vanilla pods, thick treacle toffee, and chocolate truffles. It has finishing notes of maple syrup, dark chocolate, and spiced gingerbread. Enjoy!
